Lapoc System Prostheses, designed from the maker’s point of view to meet the demands of users.
It's been 40 years now since a request came from the Labor Administration Prosthetics Orthotics Center (now the Rosai Rehabilitation Engineering Center), and based on the concept of "designing from the maker's point of view to meet the demands of users," we developed Japan's first modular prosthesis system with the goal of jointly developing a system of prosthetics structured to suit a Japanese lifestyle. The "Lapoc" in "Lapoc System Prostheses" comes from the initials of the Labor Administration Prosthetics Orthotics Center (now the Rosai Rehabilitation Engineering Center) where these products were first developed. "Lapoc" is used as the brand name for the prosthetics department at Imasen Engineering Corporation and has been widely recognized as Japan's first modular prosthesis system. We continue to develop this product today at Imasen Engineering Corporation, based on the technology and expertise we have cultivated up to the present. We continue to produce outstanding products, like knee joints based on new designs, prostheses for children, and prostheses for sports and recreation, that offer a better life to their users.
All these products are based on the Lapoc modular prosthesis system, offering a line-up of products to suit every activity level. We have a wide selection of products to meet an amputee's every need.
